Cards

All drawings can be made into greeting cards, invitations, postcards, or announcements of a new home. I have photostats created from my drawings to the size of the card. This is done after completion of the ink drawing or before the color is added to a final piece. These specially made cards can be ordered directly from me. Most of my customers have cards made up from their drawings. Currently I have a fine printing company in Indiana that creates the cards using an embossed effect.

The cards are available in 2 sizes, using premium bright white card stock with matching envelopes. Printing is done is either black or a color such as blue, green, brown, purple, etc. I can provide samples upon request by mail. All my drawings are such that they can be beautifully reproduced, even in very small sizes.

I enjoy drawing stone walls, tile work, grand old trees, brick chimneys, walkways, anything that is highly textural, and strongly detailed.

Not just for homes

Historic and Commercial properties also have their own beauty. Architectural and structural details of the period are accentuated in Historic buildings, and special features that enhance the appearance of commercial properties, whether simple or complex in design, are emphasized. Texture of the building material is depicted, signs are included, particularly if they were specially made for the business, and landscaping is emphasized.

Drawings other than properties

I can render a wide range of other subjects such as a certain species of bird or animal, family pets, a variety of rare flowers, or landscapes. I have received requests for scenes from European locations depicting the town of the family's origin. I've done several barns with animals nearby. I have done family crests, some dating back hundred's of years. In addition I do portraits, from modern to old family portraits done from Passports from the turn of the century.
