I've been an artist since age 4 and over the years I have worked in various media, including oil paints, stained glass, porcelain, gouache, and clay. I developed an affinity for pen and ink during my college and graduate school fine art studies because it incorporates all that I enjoy best, in particular textures and details. After years as an art teacher I returned to pen and ink, doing commercial illustrations. But my heart had always been in rendering natural subject matter, animals, and property drawings.

From drawing properties, I have learned that every home, modest or spectacular, is truly important to it's owner. Each has it's own unique features, and I seek out and emphasize these distinctions in each drawing.

I have created original renderings for many home owners, hotels, restaurants, commercial owners, and government and historic interests, all spanning the US and Europe.
